time to wake up.... I could get out of bed.. OR I could stay IN bed and sleep for another hour... decisions decisions.....
BED....
It wins almost every time!
How do people get out of bed so early in the morning? EVERY morning? I can't seem to get my head off the pillow in time to get ready for work, let alone workout! Every night I tell myself.. "Quit being such an enormous baby and get your rear out of bed." Then morning surfaces and I'm still snoozing.
Here's what's NOT the problem:
I love working out.
I LOVE running.
I feel good when I'm done working out.
I go to bed fairly early so I can get out of bed
I don't know what would get me out of bed. But... I need to find it soon, because I'm not getting any lighter! HAHA!

It took me forever to finally start enjoying my mornings! But what did it for me was starting my day with quiet time with the Lord, reading and praying. I have been amazed at how much smoother a day goes by when it has been covered in prayer... not always...but more times than not. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in the exact same situation! I love working out, even in the mornings but I can't get out of bed to make it happen no matter how badly I want to do it. And then I fill up the evenings taking care of the baby and all that random other stuff so I don't do it then and it's driving me crazy!

ReplyDeleteThe only way I got up to work out at 5:30 am was because I knew someone was waiting on me. I had friends to make me accountable. Otherwise, I'd never have been able to do it! Sleep just feels so good. :)
